Jumping Spider

One of my greatest pleasures is peering through the viewfinder to see the large beady eyes of a jumping spider stare right back at me. It doesn’t even matter that I get a perfectly focused and composed shot although it’s definitely a bonus as it immortalizes the encounter. But that moment when I stand face to face with one of the most beautiful creatures magnified by the macro lens, even if it lasts for less than a second, electricity runs through my entire body.
